Meet the characters of BARRIO (working title): Fernanda
Fernanda moved to London from Colombia with her three-year-old son in the late 90s. Fleeing an abusive husband, she started working as a cleaner and gradually built a new life for herself on the Castleview Estate. Sassy, determined, and deeply rooted in her faith, she refuses to stand by when the council threatens to displace her family once again. A natural fighter, she becomes a leading voice in her community, proving that hope is never truly lost.
