WE LOVE… ❤️ The fourth issue of , another collection of art collected by founder Joe Richards over the past year

The art flows through the pages without interruption or caption and as ever the design detailing changes slightly; this time an open binding and silver page edges add to the lushness of the volume. It’s a particularly strong issue of the limited edition mag

Artists represented include Anselm Keifer, Joy Julius, Yoko Ono and Martin Margiela. Margiela is also interviewed in the issue, as is trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort and cover artist Sun Yitian.

FIELD TRIP! It’s always a pleasure to welcome a student cohort to the shop for our regular talk and q&a session, but this lovely group were especially engaged and had multiple, detailed questions about the magazines we celebrate

WE LOVE ❤️ The first print issue from . Celebrating five years of the influential Substack of the same name, and arriving in a London heatwave that demands ice cream-the perfect launch cover!

Their intelligent mix of polemics and restaurant tips transfers well to print. The hard line of much of the content is softened by the design, which references a mid-20th century Englishness that is at odds with yet balances the reading in a satisfying manner. Best of all, the new magazine is genuinely surprising, a mixture of material from the last five years and new stories. Includes The River Cafe, Brixton McDonald’s, Guinness and desperate attempts at DEI
