Fields In Trust
Today marks the end of our Centenary year as a charity β and what a year itβs been! π
Fields in Trust is the only charity that legally protects the UKβs parks, playgrounds, playing fields and green spaces. Not just for today. Not just for tomorrow. Forever.
We now protect over 3,000 green spaces across the country, ensuring millions of people will always have somewhere to come together, enjoy nature, exercise and play right on their doorstep.
We are hugely grateful to our fantastic Vice President Gyles Brandreth for narrating our new film, and for the unwavering support he has shown Fields in Trust for decades.
Mile End Park in East London began its life as a King George V Field in the 1950s on land that had been heavily bombed during World War II. The park has expanded over the decades and is now home to sports courts, playgrounds, a BMX track and an Urban Adventure Base where local children and young people can come together to take part in activities like canoeing and climbing free of charge. π΄ββοΈ
Mile End Park is legally protected forever with Fields in Trust meaning it will continue to serve the local community for generations to come. π
