For the first time on the island of Ireland, residents from both sides of the border have been selected by democratic lottery to reach a verdict on the future of their shared landscape.
This Friday, we’re launching 'Two sides, one conversation: a story of cross‑border democracy' – the final report from the Carlingford Lough Citizens’ Jury. It sets out the jurors’ findings and recommendations on how to balance nature recovery with economic futures around the lough.
