Chalk & Shell: A Champagne Takeover at The Sea, The Sea (March, 25th - London)
For one night only, we are hosting Fabrice Pouillon for Chalk & Shell, a curated takeover where the minerality of the Marne meets the salt of the sea. Fabrice will guide you through a flight of six distinct Champagnes, ranging from his vibrant non-vintages to rare, single-vineyard expressions.

We are thrilled to see the buzz growing for Si Tu Sais - one of the most exciting micro-négoces to emerge from Burgundy in recent years. Founded by the talented duo Patrick Johnston and Sara Cunningham, these wines are the definition of "modern Burgundy": low intervention, crystalline purity, and incredible tension.
As the official UK importer, we’ve watched these allocations fly out the door. The 2023s are now live on our online store and, much like their debut, they are disappearing fast.
From the electric Aligoté "Les Vris" to the elegant Pinots from tiny plots in the Hautes Côte up to Gevrey, these are wines made for those who value soul over "make-up."

Redefining Alsace.
There are small domaines — and then there is La Rogerie. Just 0.25ha on the Brand hillside, farmed with uncompromising focus by François and Justine, yielding a Riesling of striking authority and finesse. This is Alsace with intent: crystalline fruit, tensile structure and a long, saline finish that lingers.

SIP Burgundy went OFF last night 🍷🔥
Hosted by Réno Pacalet, we poured straight fire from Maison Réno and Philippe Pacalet at Antidote — one of London’s coolest wine bars.
The room was electric. Pacalet fans, Burgundy nerds, and newcomers from all walks of life, all united over low-intervention wines and deep respect for terroir, culture, and history.
Serious bottles. Zero pretence. Pure Burgundy vibes. 🍇✨

Yesterday morning at Sael London, The Wine Source hosted an intimate On Trade Masterclass with Burgundian father and son Philippe Pacalet and Réno Pacalet.
Six cuvées, poured side by side, offered a study in nuance — generational interpretation, vineyard precision and the quiet confidence of minimal intervention.
London’s leading sommeliers leaned in as stories of cellar instinct and site specificity unfolded in the glass.
A thoughtful, unhurried tasting — and a reminder that in Burgundy, philosophy is inseparable from place. 🍷
