WEEK SIX: ON THE RUN NUTRITION
One of the most dreaded occurrences when it comes to racing a half or full marathon is “hitting the wall,” aka “bonking.” This is when the body runs out of stored glycogen, resulting in severe fatigue and a sudden drop off in pace.
