There is a certain light in the South of France — soft and golden.

For eleven days, we followed it.

From Saint-Raphaël to Saint-Tropez, through Fréjus and into the quieter rhythm of Lyon, Orléans, Chartres and then Rouen we moved slowly — guided not by maps, but by instinct. By the promise of brocantes tucked behind stone walls, of objects waiting patiently to be found again.

Inside these spaces, time folds in on itself. Carved mirrors reflecting a century of lives. Heavy wooden armoires standing with quiet authority. Gilded frames, worn at the edges, still holding onto their elegance. Every piece is a story that cannot be reproduced.

Mornings began early, with coffee in hand and the anticipation of what the day might reveal. Afternoons stretched into long drives through sunlit countryside, the car filling, slowly, with fragments of another world.

We found pieces that feel like they belong to old houses with tall shutters and linen curtains, to rooms where nothing is rushed and everything is chosen with care.

This journey was a feeling, beautiful in imperfection, a walk in history in the everyday of a life lived more slowly.

And now, we bring that feeling back with us.
