Meseme Studio

A little something to say hello to all, old and new, who joined our creative journey in the past month, post our showcase at I’m continuously grateful for your support, encouragement, and requests that further push the creative direction of the studio ✨
We took this portrait of myself in the studio back in January. Here, you can see a few of the first paper-model prototypes that inspired both our previous transformative and versatile CHRYSALIS collection and now our latest shell-like CO**HA collection, representing some of the ideas that manifested at the event last month.
This portrait was captured by my first ever/ life long friend, 🧡 As she prepares to soon move back home to India to pursue her dreams, saying goodbye is emotional, as she is also family away from home. I wanted to share some of the beautiful shots she captured during that particular shoot and express my gratitude for her support over the years and keen eye for detail, THE BEST!! ✨🥹
The CO**HA collection, inspired by a single fold and playful explorations using textured and coloured paper sourced from , reflects the calm that follows a period of transformation. The collection offers modularity, allowing our clients to be playful and explore various possibilities with paper types and colours, angular profiles, metal finishes, and configurations, creating an almost personalised piece of lighting for their space of calm and reflection.

Capturing the essence of life’s beautiful mess✨🪡🦪
Introducing CO**HA Embroidure - an extension of the CO**HA collection in collaboration with artist
A limited edition collection run of 20 pendant lights.
Born out of natural dialogue, the collaboration combines an unexpected source of inspiration: a weekend football game with the collection’s shell-like paper structure and warm brass details. Chui was struck by her teammate’s running path traced by her fitness tracker during an intense match, which resulted in tireless movement. This sparked a conversation about capturing the essence of life’s beautiful mess.
The limited edition boasts a unique paper type sourced from that blends paper and non-woven fabric.
