Alexander Pemberton, the painter behind this gorgeous artwork, works only on location, never from photographs. In each of his paintings, whether it is an urban landscape painted along the river Thames or the trees in one of Londons parks, Alexander captures the light in that moment, that filters through to us, the observers, and it is magical. The artist forces us to appreciate our surroundings by showing us the beauty that he finds in the London scenes.
