In 2019 I visited Ghana and met Jennifer from the Asaloko Community. She told me that after WaterAid UK installed taps and toilets, she campaigned on behalf of her community to improve their hygiene behavior. The village is now open with clean water which helps stop the spread of deadly diseases - now families are healthier and able to go to school and work!

Today on - and every day around the world - incredible activists like Jennifer are helping their communities demand their basic human rights to clean water and decent sanitation. Let’s make sure their stories are heard and championed! Head to WaterAid.org to learn more and show your support.
