Lost 1kg this week so obviously I deserve a large pizza tonight 🍕
And that right there is exactly why I spent 6 years going nowhere.
Every little win became a reason to eat back everything I’d worked for. Down 1kg? Pizza. Didn’t miss a session?
Takeaway. Had a good week? Might as well make it a great weekend.
I genuinely thought that was balance. It wasn’t. It was just a slower way to stay stuck.
The shift that actually changed things for me wasn’t more discipline or cutting out the foods I loved. It was stopping treating them like a reward and just… eating them normally.
Pizza on a Tuesday because I fancied it, not because I earned it.
When food stops being a prize, it stops having power over you. And that’s when the weight actually started coming off.
