Calling all PTs and fitness gurus! I bet your Calendars are pretty full right now, right? With the new year in full flow everyone is ready to kick those extra Christmas Lbs.

Don't forget this is a huge opportunity to get your brand noticed!! Why not make a quick educational post teaching your audience the right and wrong way to use things in the gym. Video format is often the best option as it gains a lot of reach, which naturally grows your brand awareness. If you don't have time to make a reel/video, try using a funny GIF like this one to grab their attention.

Have you found January busy this year? I'm genuinely interested to see if the January surge has decreased, increased or stayed the same since the pandemic? Let me know what you think in the comments. 💭🏋️‍♀️

Whilst for some Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, for others it's the most stressful. And if you're running you're own business I know you know I'm right, RIGHT?!

So, how can you run a successful online business and yet still enjoy Christmas I hear you ask?! Here are some top tips on how to successfully take a break over the holidays!

1. Plan! Create, curate and schedule your content for the two weeks over Christmas.

2. Set a REASONABLE amount of time in your diary every day or two for interacting with your audience. That way you won't feel guilty on your family/friends/whoever you're spending the holidays with by checking your phone at dinner when they're trying to pull a Christmas cracker with you!

3. Have essential work/documents organised. If you are organised you will naturally be less stressed. And it also means you don't have to come back from your break to a mountain of mess!

4. Set expectations with your clients. And stick to them! If you give your clients plenty of notice and have a good cover plan in place they will have little to worry about.

5. Delete/Mute social and work-related apps. Just do it. We both know you'll be back to check these apps every 2 minutes before you know it and likely without even thinking about it if they're still on your phone. You can re-install them easily once your break is done and you are refreshed and ready to go!

You're trying to grow your online following for your fitness business so you want to show people what you're capable of helping your clients achieve. The best way to do this is post nothing but transformation pictures of your clients, right? WRONG.
Whilst transformation pictures are a good way to show potential clients what they could achieve by working with you, they should only be PART of your social media strategy. There are many more reasons for and benefits to working out than just physical transformation, such as;

* Increase fitness levels
* Build strength
* Improve mental health
* Boost energy
* Combat health conditions/diseases
* Promote better sleep

So if all you're doing is shouting from the rooftops about how quickly you can transform someones body then you're excluding a huge percentage of your potential audience. Make sure you have thought about the relevant things that would interest your target audience and post about that stuff too!
