RUN CLUB – CONFIDENCE-FIRST, ALL LEVELS WELCOME 🏃‍♀️✨

If the thought of joining a run club feels intimidating or you often tell yourself “I’m not fit enough”, this run club is for you.

Our sessions are interval-based (Couch to 5K style) — short run segments, planned walk recoveries, and a steady, progressive build. You’re never expected to run continuously.

🔁 How we keep it supportive
At each recovery point, the group turns around, which keeps everyone moving within close distance of each other throughout the session.
We also stay inside Caledonian Clocktower Park, so the route is simple, familiar and easy to follow.

🕘 Meet time: Saturday mornings at 9:45am
📍 Clocktower Community Centre (opposite Tolpuddle Café)
💸 Free to join
🔥 Warm-up + 🧘‍♀️ cooldown & stretches included

📱 Extra structure for iOS users
You can be added to my app so you can:
• Start from any week that suits your current fitness
• Have your intervals timed for you during the run
• Progress independently if you’re not ready to jump in at the same stage as the group

INTERVAL OPTIONS (START WHERE YOU’RE COMFORTABLE)

You do not have to begin at Week 1 👇

Week 1
▶️ 1 min run / 2 min walk × 6

Week 2
▶️ 90s run / 2 min walk × 5

Week 3
▶️ 2 min run / 90 sec walk × 5

Week 4
▶️ 3 min run / 90 sec walk × 4

Week 5
▶️ 4 min run / 1 min walk × 3

This isn’t about pace, competition or comparison.
It’s about comfort, consistency and building confidence — together.

If you’re unsure where you’d fit, DM me and I’ll help you choose a starting point 🤍

I’m often asked “what actually is soft tissue therapy?” — and just as importantly, “how do I know whether I need this, physiotherapy, or something more joint-focused?”

Soft tissue therapy works specifically with muscles, fascia, and connective tissue to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function. It’s not a relaxing massage — the aim isn’t comfort for comfort’s sake, but to address tissue quality, restrictions, and load-related issues that can be limiting how your body moves and feels.

A lot of discomfort people assume is a joint problem is actually being driven by surrounding soft tissue — tightness, stiffness, overuse, or movement patterns — and addressing this early can often make a significant difference.

Physiotherapy and joint-focused care can be essential in the right situations, and if someone already has a practitioner they trust and are getting results from, I would always encourage them to continue with that support. My role isn’t to replace anyone — it’s to work within my scope, be honest about what I can help with, and refer on when appropriate.

What makes my approach a little different is how soft tissue therapy is integrated directly with personal training. If a client comes into a session with a ni**le, tightness, or something not feeling quite right, I can address it there and then — allowing us to train safely and effectively rather than pushing through or stopping altogether. This often means we resolve small issues before they become bigger problems.

I hold a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy, accredited by the London School of Sports Massage, and I offer this work both as a standalone service and alongside training to support recovery, confidence, and long-term progress.

The goal is always understanding, improvement, and independence — not endless treatment.

If you’re unsure whether soft tissue therapy is right for you, I’m always happy to talk it through.

This is how and where you can train with me locally in N7.

My private garage training studio is the base for 1:1 personal training, small group coaching, and integrated training and recovery — a focused space without crowds, pressure, or overwhelm.

Alongside the studio, I also run community-based sessions in the area, including Core Fundamentals and a Couch to 5K–style running club, hosted at the Clocktower Community Centre / Caledonian Park. These sessions are designed to be accessible, consistent, and supportive — whether you’re building confidence, returning to movement, or training regularly as part of a group.

Over the coming days, I’ll also be introducing small group classes from the garage studio, adding more options for people who want structured training in a smaller, more personal setting.

Between studio-based training, local classes, outdoor running, home visits, and recovery support, there are multiple ways to get started — depending on your goals, availability, and what feels right for you.

Local coaching • Community-led training • Multiple entry points
