year’s worth of DJing and production experience, Griff is an artist who truly knows his sound and is quickly establishing himself as one of the industries hottest up and coming prospects. Having left school at the age of fifteen, Griff decided to go to university and study creative sound production. Writing his dissertation on the evolution of house music, the young Scotsman graduated with a 2:1 grade in 2013 before packing up his life and relocating to Ibiza to pursue a career as a DJ and producer. It was here that Griff sprang to attention and in 2015 established himself as a resident for the then new Do Not Sleep brand. After a string of appearances at Privelage, Griff was invited back to Do Not Sleep @ Space in 2016 and again @ Sankeys in 2017. The Sterling based DJ has also hosted a series of successful clubnights under his very own Griff’s Gaff moniker. The concept sees him take his house party style events on the road, showcasing the talents of local DJs and international tacts at every port of call. The brand has already been to Wales, Alicante, Marbella and Ibiza, where he took over Sankey’s Spektrum for Do Not Sleep on a number of occasions during the 2017 season. During his career to date, Griff has appeared in other iconic venus such as Cafe Mambo and Pacha, playing alongside Darius Syrossian, Santé, Sydney Charles, Dense & Pika, Artwork and Dennis Ferrer. Despite having ten year’s worth of experience, 2017 saw Griff release his first track on Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction label. Heavily influenced by the golden era of disco from the late 70s and early 80s, as well as other house artists like Daft Punk, Griff’s Pawn The Monkey was a perfect fit for Doorly’s imprint and was soon followed up on the label by an official remix of Idris Elba and Black Talk’s Paradise, where he featured on an EP also containing remixes from Skream and Patrick Topping.

2018 is set to be the biggest year to date for Griff, with a number of local and international booking already in the pipeline, kicked off with a short tour in Thailand, followed by an appearance at the opening night of the Ibiza Club News World Tour in Panama, Amsterdam.
