IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hi guys, so has been such a tough decision for me but I will be closing my shop for the next few weeks!

When I opened Paper Print Designs back in Nov/Dec I never in a million years thought it would be what it is today and never would have thought I would achieve so much in a short amount of time! The response has been incredible and I am eternally grateful to every single person that has ever interacted with my business but that success has also taken it toll on my personal life, social life and mental wellbeing.

I get up most days before work and package prints that have come in overnight, I spend every lunchbreak at the post office, I finish work at half 5 and spend my entire evening working on orders and finally get to bed at about 2am to then wake up the next day and do it all over again. Working full time whilst having a small business is TOUGH and I praise every single one of you out there doing it because you don't understand the constant pressure until you do it!

This past bank holiday weekend, I had planned to shut my shop and enjoy my weekend with family and friends. When I went to close my shop, I was presented with pages of shops saying don't shut your shop it ruins your sales and position in the etsy algorithm so I felt concerned and pressured not to shut my shop, instead I extended my dispatch times hoping it would slow down business - it seemed to only increase sales!

Yesterday, after a lovely day with family, I had a complete breakdown to see that I finished the weekend on 67 orders and not knowing how I could mentally get this all done whilst working full time and having more orders come in each and every day! I know there are business on here that would love to have that in a weekend and please don't think I am not grateful because I am over the moon that people believe in my small business and support me but I think I have been so drained the last few weeks and it is now taking its toll on me mentally and its time for me to step away and have a recharge!

I'm not sure when I will be back but I hope it won't be too too long!
