Alcohol is sold in shops, supermarkets and restaurants, and most often we always see an advertisement on TV or social media, promoting a new alcoholic drink to be bought for occasions such as birthdays, parties and gatherings. For some, alcohol can impact someone’s wellbeing, health, relationship and productivity.
Alcohol can put some people at risk of developing long-term chronic health conditions such as: liver disease, strokes, high blood pressure and more.
With Alcohol Awareness Week, we aim to raise awareness of those with lived experiences on how alcohol has impacted them, offering them a safe space to discuss their experience, and offer support.
One of the biggest barriers young people face when it comes to mental health, is not having access to adequate mental wellbeing services. In this clip, we see how parents can struggle to find a suitable counsellor or therapist, where they are limited to either school services or other parents who know of counsellors, but it’s not widely accessible to them.
At TACaccess, we are here to support every young person who is currently struggling with their mental health. We are a UK-based digital platform and directory that connects children, young people, and adults with qualified, accredited therapists and counsellors.
If you want to access our services, here is a walkthrough on how to use our platform to help support your organisation. 🤩
This walkthrough provides step by step guidance on how to navigate the TACaccess platform, allowing you to easily create referrals, match with an ideal therapist, reduce administrative tasks, and optimise your budget.
