Curtains that hold the sky

These panels are inspired by the ever-changing clouds over Lake Como - soft, shifting, and full of quiet drama.

I wanted to capture that sense of movement and lightness, translating the poetry of the sky into fabric that transforms a space.

This is part of my ongoing exploration into materials, nature, and design - where textiles become more than function, they become atmosphere.

Just casually dyed 5 meters of fabric with madder powder 🧡

Each stamped symbol connects back to my family — messy, meaningful, and made with love.

And yes, this project did completely take over the entire lounge space back home 🤣

Was it worth it? Absolutely!!

The Unveiling of my final finished design from my MA at RCA. 🌹 🌟 This design was inspired by my trip to Uhuru Flowers. Each motif reflects my passion for bold and intricate designs. Feeling proud to share this piece after months of hard work and creativity!
