for the tone tweakers: the effect in this clip is relatively simple, it’s the RV-6 set to shimmer with the effects and time settings at about 3 o’clock, and the tone set to 9. The low tone choice here limits the shimmer effect to the earthy tones I love about the telecaster and sits quite nicely among the other parts. What I really like about this setup is I’ve limited myself to reverb and delay in the effects loop after falling in love with the tones in the Blackstar ID:60TVP, there’s a reason are a popular choice for players in alt and rock.
