A superb ride from Jacob Storey to take 1st place at the VTTA Yorkshire Ice Breaker 10, stopping the clock at 20:11 to open his season in style.

Jacob, who races for TrainSharp Roman RT, has been working closely with Jon Sharples at TrainSharp Coaching, and the progress over the winter was clear to see.

Not only did he win the event, he also beat the SpinData prediction by 43 seconds, underlining the strength of the performance.

After a strong season last year, the focus through the winter was simple: raise the level again.
This ride is an early sign that the work is paying off.
