A workplace can feel welcoming while still making it difficult for people to speak up, challenge ideas, or contribute meaningfully. That disconnect is where culture problems begin.
Tall Poppy Syndrome, psychological safety, and early career retention are all connected. When junior employees are discouraged from contributing, silence becomes the safest option and organisations lose potential before they even realise it.
