For Melody’s birthday shoot, we wanted to capture that teenage vibe, and her love of dance and musical theatre. Kirkstall Abbey was perfect: the stone, the texture and the drama worked for her.

We started with portraits around the abbey ruins, then rounded things off with family shots of her with mum Amy and dad Mark.

Melody was an absolute star - fun, easy-going, and a complete natural in front of the camera.
