Currently seeking a Business Development Manager based in Leeds. If recruited you will be working for the founder of a new start-up venture, an immensely experienced and well-known British business magnate with a particular interest in encouraging dynamic, talented individuals who can drive forward commercial success in an innovative manner. In essence, the company is a membership organisation for senior leaders at the helm of growing businesses. The company coordinates a programme to help each individual business develop through shared experiences and expertise. The role carries a basic salary of around 30k with a bonus. However, it goes way beyond that as it also offers the chance, for those sufficiently ambitious and capable, to become a shareholder and director of the company.
Initially, the position will focus on various kinds of marketing work and phone-based activity to generate interest from appropriate companies/individuals. Going forward it will involve a much wider portfolio of responsibilities leading, ultimately to becoming a shareholder and directing the company. As a result, the ideal applicant will need a strategic mind-set, a real instinct for commercial openings and the strength of character and purpose to lead others towards greater success.

The position will be based from their Leeds office.
