Eleven of our drivers had the honour of joining the fleet delivering F1 equipment across to the historical Monaco Grand Prix earlier this month! 🚛☀️

When you watch a race, you see the drivers, the pit stops, and the podiums. But behind the scenes? There is a massive logistical operation keeping the wheels turning and it relies almost entirely on the professionalism and dedication of HGV drivers.

Navigating a massive rig through Monaco’s tight, winding streets is the ultimate test of skill, and it reminds us that while engineers design the speed and aerodynamical advantage of the cars on track and the drivers who train most of their lives to go all out at mind boggling speeds, it’s also the HGV drivers on the open road who work hard to deliver the race to each location within a tight time window.

🏎️💨 F1 Logistics Fun Facts:
⚡️From steering wheels to entire hospitality suites, teams transport up to 1,200 metric tons of equipment per event.
⚡️The European leg creates a massive convoy of over 300 heavy goods vehicles moving in perfect synchronicity from track to track.
⚡️During tight back-to-back race weeks, crews have under 89 hours to pack down, drive over 1,000 km, and rebuild the entire paddock.
⚡️With zero paddock space, HGV drivers have to park kilometres away on tight jetties and navigate impossibly narrow streets just to unload.
