ADHD #sharp

Today is an exciting relaase day for music for myself and the neurodiverse community.

I'm writing a BIG funding bid for ADHD . As part of it, I have made a demo track. It's my lovely bestie Aidan and I singing about our ADHD experience, and how we are there for each other. It also features some vocal snippets of our friends on there too, which gives deeper context of our ADHD journey to the listener.

My funding bid will secure a full album which is professionally recorded with around 12 tracks, 40 musicians, singers and songwriters who are neurodiverse being paid to sing about their predicament of neurodiversity. It will also have accompaning videos to help give deeper context to the viewer. They will all be paid artists and be given a leg up into the industry.

The funding will also secure professional videography and editing. The videos will feature hyperbold fonts with colours which make it easier for people who are neurodiverse to read. This particular video I have included as the demo has rudimental editing by myself as videos are now within my remit. Funding will really make a good difference here. Should any videographers/editors be interested who are neurodiverse then I'm all ears!

The project is inspired by One Giant Leap, and follows in its legacy to make people understand life better.

The simple idea is that if you have no idea about things such as ADHD, Autism, BPD, Bi-Polar, OCD, severe anxiety, discalcula, sensory overload or other things linked in with neurodiversity, you will have a better understanding and empathy through listening to the album.

Nobody has made anything like this yet, and it is my life's body of work and witness statement to the world to try and change how we see neurodiversity through the gift of music.

In the funding bid will also be opportunities for my artists to do gigs and play at festivals as ADHD develops into a CIC or perhaps a charity.

One step at a time, and it starts with the demo video I'm putting out today.

I'm doing this because it took so long understand how my brain works. If one person can play a track to their family or fiends and say 'this is me' to help them describe their head to others, it's a job well done.
