Is all press good press?

I was so excited that my client Venture Photography Studios was featured on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. As a franchise business model is means a lot for the business owner at Eton and I am working hard to get him as much exposure as possible - it's been such an exciting journey for them.

Unfortunately there has been some backlash about another aspect of the prank, that is all over the news and completely unrelated to the photoshoot experience.

So it raises the question is all press good press?

Why I decided to start my own business during Covid19…

People say I am either brave or stupid.

Truth is I have always wanted to be my own boss. I have spent years making a lot of money for other people, so I thought why not channel that drive and passion into my own business.

I love working with people – I’ve worked in hospitality since I was 14 years old, so it comes naturally.

I love developing businesses – I always say I don’t “do” sales, I work on getting the proposition right, really understanding the market place and building relationships. Once these are in place the business rolls in as a result. It really is true - people buy people.

My real passion is working with small to medium sized businesses and non-exec boards, where the team are immersed in the day to day running of their business and have the desire to evolve and grow, but lack the time or energy to make it happen.

This is my thing.

This is when I thrive.

This is when I know I’ve made the right decision.
