We are OUTSTANDING!!!

We are thrilled to have been awarded the highest grade in our Ofsted inspection. We know that we have always been an outstanding group, but there’s nothing like the feeling of being recognised for all the heart and soul that goes in to what we do.

A huge thankyou to the queue of Parents, Grandparents and other extended family members that requested to speak to the inspector. The inspector commented on the recurring feedback from you all, we are like family.

Well this big Toddle In Family celebrated together with a farm visit! Winston the alpaca and Rodney the donkey were huge hits with our eager and curious children.

Thankyou to families and colleagues, past and present, for being part of our Family.

It is National poetry day today. The children will be enjoying some ditties and poems here at Nursery. The quote above has been taken from 'The lost words' by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris.

'Three Little words' was written by my Poppa, Patrick O'Sullivan. We feature framed poems in the Nursery to immerse ourselves and our children in language. We also have children's poetry books and Nursery Rhyme books. For our young children Nursery rhymes present the same qualities. They can hear a rhythm, possibly a rhyming string, or alliterative descriptions.

Today, we celebrate poetry in it's many forms!
