Over Easter I went and helped my in-laws with their patterdale terrier Ernie.

Now Ernie isn't a naughty dog in any way! He is just a patterdale terrier 🤣 very driven and this was coming out in some ways that weren't overly appreciated.

So we set up some things on a walk for Ernie to enjoy and work his mind.

We covered:
Loose lead walking
Scent games
Looking at dogs calmly
How to distract when dogs walk past if needed
Play with toys/what ever you have on you to help with mouthing.
Notice the signs when he needs extra help/rest.

After the walk everyone was knackered! So we had a cuddle on the chair, of course after he walked over the mud and onto my cream jumper but I forgive him 🤣😍
