Bury Court Opera began staging opera in 2007 in the intimate environment of The Barn at Bury Court and now presents an annual season in early Spring and occasional productions at other times of the year. We were delighted to welcome the baroque ensemble Solomon’s Knot to Bury Court for the first time with a revival of their hit 2015 show, l’Ospedale, a baroque satire about healthcare in 17th century Italy with ironic relevance to the NHS today.
