Inspiring visit to University of Plymouth 🎓

Our students took part in a range of engaging academic sessions, exploring subjects including History, English Literature, and Politics/International Relations through interactive lectures and discussions. They delved into fascinating topics such as the debate surrounding nuclear weapons, Gothic fiction, and the rhetoric and philosophy of Martin Luther King Jr.

The visit also included student led campus tours, giving students a real insight into university life, its facilities, and the many opportunities available in higher education. Hearing first hand from current university ambassadors about their experiences helped bring university life to life for our students.

A huge thank you to everyone at the University of Plymouth! the staff, lecturers, and student ambassadors for providing such a warm welcome and an enriching experience. It was a fantastic day that gave our students the chance to broaden their horizons, explore future pathways, and experience university life first hand.

It's been a busy first day packed with exciting activities, including frisbee golf, archery, raft building and survival skills. Everyone has thrown themselves into the challenges, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and resilience.

After an action packed day, the students rounded off the evening by getting into teams for a fun quiz to enjoy some friendly competition! 📝
