The current weather leaves us in doubt that it is full summer and here at St Thomas library that means one thing - The Summer Book Quest is nigh!
In fact, it kicks off this weekend!
Come the holidays, we'll have all your old favourites over the summer - how many sweeties in the jar, name the creature, messy Thursdays and, of course, the famed treasure hunt. That one will be up and ready on Saturday.
We'll also have a selection of friendly toys over the summer which children can read stories to.
You could even read a story about a duck to Doris the Duck whilst sitting on the library duck! You can see some of our new wee beasties here, some of them having a cheeky nibble of the produce in the Zero Mile Gardens beds.
Come along on Saturday morning and join us as the quest begins...
