She has lost 5kg in 4 weeks of being consistent with tracking calories, training 4 x a week and increasing her expenditure with steps on her days off! Whilst working as a paramedic throughout the week doing night shifts, day shifts and everything in between!

She’s performing in the gym like an absolute boss upping weights on most sessions and form has improved massively!!

HOW DO YOU STAY ON TRACK BUT STILL STAY SOCIAL?
A question I get asked a lot - my kind of training is very different to lifestyle goals however remaining consistent, dedicated and motivated are important for any goal!
So how do you hit your steps, stay on nutrition plan and for all your workouts in whilst maintaining a career, balancing family life and keeping social?!

1. Prioritising what’s important from the get go will help you to iron out what’s a must and what you can pull back on! E.G Spending time with family and friends is very important to me whereas binging Netflix series isn’t as important! So limiting my tv to a couple hours a week and taking my daughter out to the park would be more of priority!

2. Set boundaries of what you can do and still achieve your goals! In order to achieve your goals you may not be able to go out for coffee and cake 3 x a week however a cheat meal once a week will still allow you to see progress! Understanding the boundaries, you can prioritise special events with friends and family that you might want to save your cheat meal for or if you know your going to the cinema get up earlier to do your daily steps or workouts!

3. Improve your food relationships - Life doesn’t have to stop because your eating certain foods or you are prepping your daily meals! You can still meet friends at cafes and eat your prepped meal! Or opt for a picnic so they can eat what they want and you can have your meal! Also there are 1000 things you can do that do socially that dont involve food but being around foods and being able to enjoy your time without feeling deprived is a good feeling!

4. Time management and planning - take the time to prep your meals making them yummy and things that you like! Eating boring foods with no flavour are an absolute no go!! Eat throughout the day and don’t leave long periods between meals! This way if your out and about you won’t get caught in a situation where you’ll be super hungry and cheat on the plan!

5. Surround yourself with people that understand it’s important to you and support you! If your goals are important people that love you will think so to!
