My husband and I attended Parentwise, Paddy's six-week antenatal course before welcoming our son, Emrys, into the world on 4th April, and honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.
The course covered everything we could have hoped for and more, from the different stages of labour and birth through to breastfeeding and the often-overlooked postpartum period. Every session was packed with practical information, but what really made the course exceptional was Paddy herself.
Paddy's knowledge, experience and delivery are second to none. She has an incredible way of explaining things that makes you feel informed, empowered and completely in control. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by the huge life change ahead, we came away from each session feeling confident, prepared and excited for what was to come. One of the things we particularly loved was how inclusive the course was for partners. Paddy made my husband feel just as important and involved as was throughout the entire experience. Her famous "Paddy's Top Tips" for dads were invaluable and gave him practical ways to support me during labour, birth and beyond. We both felt equipped to advocate for ourselves, ask questions and make informed decisions throughout our birth journey.
