MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Honiton. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance. Additionally, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for electrical maintenance tasks.

Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair skills
Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance procedures
Electrical Maintenance experience
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills

Industry experience in manufacturing or production plants is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Employee Relations: Foster a positive and collaborative workplace by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting effective communication.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
• Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain a supportive and compliant work environment.
• Training and Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our team.
• Performance Management: Support managers in performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company's compliance with relevant legislation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Not essential
• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role. Desirable
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
