Meet Gustav Szabo, the street artist known as Szabotage bringing a bold new mural to New Bridge Street.
We’re excited to see colour and creativity arriving at this impressive entrance to the city and the West Quarter, Exeter’s biggest indie retail area. With so much history and character, Szabotage is using his signature stencil style to capture what he sees, hears and feels, transforming it into a striking new piece of public art.
The mural has been commissioned by InExeter - we are grateful to the property owner of 28 New Bridge Street for giving us permission to transform this wall. A big thank you to Bigwave Marketing who are documenting the project as it unfolds. Stay tuned for more updates...

Søstrene Grene is one of those spaces where you instantly slow down.
Tucked inside Paternoster House, it’s more than a shop. With soft classical music guiding you through a maze of neatly arranged, carefully considered displays, you’ll find affordable homeware, small furniture, kitchen essentials, and clever storage, alongside craft supplies, stationery and gift wrap that make everyday moments feel a little more special.
Rooted in Danish design since 1973, that sense of calm, creativity and attention to detail still shapes every corner of the store today.
A place for quiet browsing, small finds and creative inspiration, whether you’re starting a new project or just taking a moment out of your day.
Keep an eye out in store for upcoming creative sessions this summer, from journaling and knitting to paper weaving and bracelet making.
