Life - its one of those things on our to do list that rates highly....

Enjoying yourself, getting out and about on four or two wheels makes you feel alive and we help it stay that way.

Our brake lines changed everything - gone were reusables that you put together with a pair of spanners and in were a swaged, slim line, stream lined, beautiful stainless steel brake hose with stainless steel fittings.

We changed the industry. We also did it with our covers - when we started the go to was a stainless steel braided hose with a 'choice of heat shrink cover'. Not good enough for us and so our hose had its PVC cover extruded onto it, adhering to the braid as molten PVC, in a myriad of colours...

Its better. End of. Heat shrink showed that people wanted colour - we just did it properly.

And so the only question you need ask is 'What colour would I like ?'.

And with all that choice and after all these years -Black or Clear are still the biggest sellers.... 😂

BUT you do have a choice 👍

HEL Performance | What's The Difference ?

Its a question we are asked a great deal - what's the difference between HEL and some other brake line company ?

The difference in our minds is that we ACTUALLY make what we sell. You dont have to travel very far from us here in Exeter to get to another aftermarket stainless steel brake line manufacturer - But they buy most of their brake line fittings in from a third party where as here at HEL we make all of our mainline stainless steel fittings right here at HEL HQ on our own machines.

And if you visit us you can see for yourselves - Some companies areas which are 'out of bounds' or 'staff only' or 'private'. Most will hide behind health and safety to say its 'unsafe for you' but actually its hiding the fact that they don't actually make anything themselves... They just assemble.

We are different - Come and see for yourself as we are always pleased to give a Royal Tour of HEL HQ.

HEL Performance | Happy Ever After

Everyone loves a good news story and they don't get much better than this. Had a phone call late on a Thursday afternoon from a guy who was off on a biking holiday with his friends on the Monday.

Only problem was his OEM Master Cylinder had given up the ghost.

Nik told him to order one of our 19mm online and would keep an eye out for the order :

Hi Alex – Just saw your order drop in, My guy in assembly had already put together the Master cylinder, so it’s on its way today for you by DHL. Hope all goes well and you’re back on the road soon.

and the response came back after the holiday was saved :

Nik, You and the guys are absolute heroes - Master arrived next day.

I’ve had calipers from you before. Service has always been top notch but that’s a step above ! Fitted up the master cylinder, worked beautifully and looks mega.

Thank you again for helping to salvage my holiday! I managed to catch up with everyone!
