✨🤰🏻life lately 🤰🏻✨
It’s been a while since I posted so here’s a tiny snippet of some of the nice things/the growing bump!
Pregnancy has been a wild ride emotionally and physically but overall doing really well 🥰
1. Autumn leaves on the moors and 30 ish weeks! 🍁
2. Misty 🐶
3. The gorgeous drawers/change station/shelves Rich built for bubba in our bedroom! (nursery coming one day! 😆)
4. Cosy pub catch ups with Maddie and her little Nelly pup 😍
5. Kitty warming the one pregnancy book I’m trying to finish 😽
6. In my swollen ankles era 🦶
7. 35 weeks!!
Both motherhood and Christmas both fast approaching at the same time, wish me luck! Overwhelmed is an understatement! 😂
Hope you’re all doing really well and enjoying the change in seasons 🌿🍂🧡

I know I’ve probably missed out loads too!! 😭
Sadly, ADHD and ASD are unbelievably stigmatised.
I understand when people say (some of) these things they are often well meaning, however they are actually quite dismissive and hurtful phrases so this is why I wanted to talk about it.
We don’t say to people who have epilepsy or asthma “everyone’s got that though” or “you’re just jumping on the bandwagon”
We all know that ADHD and ASD are being talked about SO much more now and loads of people are getting new diagnoses but.. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. This is because it has been missed for years (especially in females, as it was initially mostly just studied on boys!!) and now we finally understand so much more about these 2 conditions and all these people are realising why they have been struggling so much.
The more we understand ourselves, the more help we can get, and the less we beat ourselves up for not mangaging life like others seem to. It’s a very isolating world when you are not coping well but don’t know why.
Diagnosis and knowledge on these conditions can literally save lives.
It’s sadly so common for ADHD or ASD to co-exist with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders and more, so even more reason to show more compassion and continue raising awareness 🫶

All still very much a work in progress but so far it feels a mixture of uncomfortable, amazing, scary, empowering 😃
