We are looking for x2 SIA Door Supervisors to work Friday and Saturday nights between 20:00 and 04:00 over a 10-week period (with additional hours on Bank Holidays and Freshers Week) in Exeter City Centre.
Rate: £15 per hour
Hours: Friday Night 8hrs (20:00 - 04:00) and Saturday Night 8hrs (20:00 - 04:00)
The objective is to support the police and council in deterring crime and anti-social behaviour, helping vulnerable persons identified during routine patrols, promote awareness of Public Spaces Protection Order and to provide general assistance and re-assurance.
The marshalling will mostly concentrate around Cathedral Green, High Street, Fore Street, Queen Street, Gandy Street, Northernhay Park and Sidwell Street.
You will be supplied with EBAC radios for contact and to request CCTV and Police assistance, Body Worn CCTV cameras and branded tabards.
You will be performing regular patrols of the areas mentioned, engaging with members of the public and local businesses, being always observant and making notes via the EBAC reporting system of any incidents and offences, whilst ensuring there is minimal physical contact and summoning police if a situation is escalating.
After 11 years in the Royal Marines, 10 years in the Police and 22 years of running Shadow Security, I decided it’s time to retire and concentrate on my family and enjoying life.

I served in the Royal Marines and crewed with Martin in the Police for many years, and Phil has been successfully involved in running a security company and other businesses, for many years.
