Exeter MBA Life

Our first week of teaching here at the Exeter MBA is complete! We had the privilege of working with the wonderful Tanya Popeau, who got our students thinking about innovation and Tackling Global Challenges. 🌍

Tanya brought excellent knowledge to the room, from her years of experience working at the forefront of the United Nations to help them address global challenges and enhance sustainable developments. 🌱

On day one, she got our students thinking about the links between sustainability and the business world, and reflecting on how the businesses who focus on driving profit and making positive impact experience the most growth. 📈

On day two, Tanya introduced specific global challenges (both environmental and social), and examples of innovations which have responded to these effectively. It was then time for students to split into teams and work on solutions to challenges they’d been given. 🤔

Which brings us to day three (pictured!). Students got creative and developed prototypes for their solutions - basic models to bring their ideas to life. Learning through play is a wonderful way to inspire innovation, and as you can see, our MBAs loved it! 🖍
