Little pineapple bakery

Switching back over to my personal account for now 👋🏻 … not sure if and when I’ll be back! 😳

I love cake, eating and making it … but Instagram for business is such a time consuming effort, thinking of what to say, editing photos, keeping ‘relevant’, hashtags bla bla, and it’s all a bit pointless when you can’t taste a cake from a photo anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️!

It’s just come to the point where I’m not really interested in keeping up with the latest cake fashions, sharpest finishes, plastic toppers, novelty cakes etc… I actually LOATHE buttercream and would rather eat a good old fashioned carrot cake/ lemon drizzle, no nonsense!

I’m a chef and love my other actual job working with and for lovely people, and to be honest it’s nice to turn up to work, go home, get paid, the end.

I did think that baking from home would be the dream (second) job… but it turns out when you’ve been up since rather early with baby/babies, by the evening I’d actually rather just flop on to the sofa, eat and spend time with my loved ones (Partner + dogs) ! So any baking in the meantime will be for fun ✌🏽.

(Ps I might completely change my mind after maternity leave!)
