✨OPEN TOMORROW 🥳🎉

Honestly, sometimes it feels like we’re on a prank show. 🫣

Thursday we had an electrical issue and we really thought we might have to close for the busiest weekend of the month. We had to cancel our bookings on Thursday.

Despite hoping the electricity would be restored in time, by Friday afternoon we were still without power. As a result, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel all of Fridays bookings.

Running an independent hospitality business can be incredibly tough, often while dealing with challenges that customers never see and somehow keeping a smile on your face while hoping the next phone call isn’t another disaster.

Like many independent businesses, we rely on weekends to keep us going. When something like this happens, it’s not just a case of closing the doors for a day or two and heading to the beach. We don’t WANT to close. Infact, we NEED to open to stay afloat. As owners, we immediately start worrying about our team, paying wages, covering bills, and the impact of losing 2 days trading—especially during one of our busiest weekends.

It’s been a stressful couple of days, and if we’re honest, it’s hard not to feel a little defeated.

To everyone who had a table booked and cancelled, we’re so sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment. We’re just as disappointed as you are.
Thank you for your patience and understanding—it means more than you know.

Thankfully, the power is back on, and we’re ready to welcome you back tomorrow. If you pop in, please bear with us if things take a little longer than usual. A smile, a bit of patience, and a kind word mean more than you know. (We’re probably fighting back tears 😅)

Here’s hoping this weekend is about great drinks, good vibes, and absolutely no plot twists. 🤞🏼

REMINDER: Our garden is dog friendly 🐶 🐕

Saturdays can be a little overwhelming with the crowds, noise, and warmer temperatures - our garden gets pretty hot in the summer 🥵

We recommend bringing your pups Wednesday-Friday evenings for a cooler & calmer experience ✨

Fizz Friday is here again ✨🥂

The best way to start the weekend? A glass of Prosecco in hand, good music & great company!

Join us every Friday for our favourite weekly tradition — 2 for 1 glasses of Prosecco all night long 🥂

Why have one glass of Prosecco when you can have two? 👀
