We are a private mental health clinic run by a team of highly specialised psychologists and psychiatrists. Here at the Edinburgh Practice, we offer assessment, treatment and therapy for a range of difficulties faced by children, teenagers and adults. We are also proud to offer a gold standard autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic service for families living both locally and nationally.

This National Wellbeing Week, we encourage you to take a moment to check in with yourself:

✨ Is there one small thing you can do for your wellbeing today?

Whether it's taking a break, spending time with someone you trust, getting outside, or speaking with a professional, small steps can make a difference.

At The Edinburgh Practice, we're here to support children, young people, adults and families with their mental health and wellbeing throughout the year—not just this week.🌻

A weekend full of connection, creativity, and community 💛

We loved being part of 2026, bringing conversations about mental health into a welcoming, accessible space.

From a choir-based CBT session exploring the power of music and connection, to our values card exercise encouraging reflection on what truly matters, it was inspiring to see so many people engage, share, and connect.

For today’s Mental Health Awareness Week activity, Team TEP “planted our worries” together 🌱

We each wrote down a small worry or stressor on a piece of paper and planted it beneath our sunflower seeds as part of a mindful gardening activity 🌻

🌿 Research suggests that gardening and spending time in nature may help to reduce stress, support relaxation, encourage mindfulness, and positively impact emotional wellbeing.
