We’re looking for a passionate and organised Event Coordinator to join our Events team.

Based at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant within the National Gallery, this role will also support events across Contini George Street and Cannonball Restaurant & Bar - working across both restaurant settings and private dining spaces to bring exceptional events to life.

From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

What you’ll be doing:
• Coordinating events across multiple Contini venues
• Working closely with clients to understand and deliver their vision
• Managing event logistics from enquiry through to execution
• Collaborating with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless delivery
What we’re looking for:
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Previous experience in events in hospitality (ideally with DMC and travel trade knowledge)
• A passion for creating memorable guest experiences

This role is 40 hours over 5 days, typically Monday to Friday but some evening and weekend work may be required. We offer a competitive salary and generous benefits.

We had the absolute honour of hosting over 150 guests, including First Minister John Swinney and Flanders Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, to The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant to celebrate Flanders Day, and their 25th Anniversary, in style ✨

Our guests enjoyed beautiful canapés and drinks across both our Terrace and Restaurant, and the weather couldn’t have been better for it! 🏡
