I also teach music theory, either as a stand-alone course or within the context of instrument tuition. Many rock musicians feel alienated and confused by the abstract way that music theory is often taught, so I aim to demystify the concepts and show how a little bit of music theory can go a long way in helping you master your instrument. I call this approach Applied Rock Theory or A.R.T for short. I specialise in tutoring school and college students as they prepare for music exams. Whether you're studying Standard Grade, Int I, Int II or Higher I can help you maximise your marks in both the performance and listening exams. My lessons are priced at £25 for an hour or £20 for 45 minutes. Your first lesson is absolutely free! If you then decide to proceed the normal schedule is one lesson per week.
