Trinity Bowling Club

Following The Open Triples on the first Saturday in June, The Trinity Pairs were held on the last Saturday of June (book early for next year) and sincere thanks go to our sponsors Purves Funeral Undertakers. Again the weather was set fair and the maximum entries had as usual a great day. There are always several teams from Kirkconnel up for the weekend…..what happens stays here, plus teams from all over Edinburgh. As has happened in the past years of playing, the finals were between the ‘tourists’ and Gorgie Mills and on this occassion, Gorgie Mills were the victors. A great advert for bowling, come and join us next year and sincere thanks to the caterers, bar staff and the 'Graham Green Staff’ who have provided a brilliant green all season - this sorts the bowlers from the boys!
