A devastating accident changed her life when she fell into a charcoal stove and suffered severe burns. Destiny's family urgently searched for help, but private clinics were unable to treat the complexity of her injuries, leaving Mzuzu Central Hospital as their best hope.

There, Destiny was cared for in the paediatric burns unit while she waited for surgery. With overcrowding and limited resources causing delays, the wait was challenging... But when she finally underwent surgery in a Kids Operating Room-improved theatre, her condition stabilised and her recovery could begin. 🌸

Thanks to her surgery, Destiny is now healing, growing stronger, and looking ahead to brighter days. 🌟
