KinderConcerts is a concert series designed for children aged 4-10 (younger siblings very welcome!). Your children might want to take up an instrument or a second instrument and would like to see different options in action, played by professional musicians, or you'd like to broaden your children's musical horizon? A typical KinderConcert is 30-45 minutes of performance (often with interactive games and songs) exploring the instrument, followed by a Q&A session with the musician. After the KinderConcert there is an opportunity to mingle, meet like-minded people and families, chat to the musician and - if possible - to try out the instruments. We also offer tea, coffee and biscuits in an informal setting. We operate on an invite/reservation only system, so we can keep numbers manageable and the atmosphere friendly and intimate. Reservation is essential. KinderConcerts run every other month on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm in Marchmont, Edinburgh. The address is 1 Chalmers Crescent, Edinburgh EH9 1TW. We do ask for a donation.
