Roseburn Bar
A lot of the original fixtures remain. It consists of the public bar, the lounge and the jug bar or fly half. The public bar is split into 3 sections by partitions, these sections are called trap1, trap2 and trap3. Each trap is like a different pub in itself with many customers sticking to certain areas, this can lead to some healthy rivalry. Many moons ago women were only allowed in the jug bar, they were served through a hatch leading from the bar, there was no female toilet!
Now that the dust has settled on what has to be one of the busiest away games I’ve ever worked at The Roseburn—what a day it was, full of highs and lows! You, our customers, created such a brilliant atmosphere… with just the odd exception. I’ve honestly never seen so many grown men show that much emotion!
To our amazing team: you all worked your absolute socks off and did an incredible job 👏. A huge thank you to every single one of you for all your hard work and effort.
This season has been one to remember—one that caught the attention of people right around the world. Next year is going to be even better, and we can’t wait for it—bring it on!
Now it’s time to take a well-earned rest, before the World Cup gets underway…
