I’ve been working on a few gifts for new babies lately and it made me think back to when we were getting gifts for Charlie’s arrival.

Often people like to get bigger sizes for new arrivals as it’s known that they’ll be inundated with gifts which is very practical! I’m all about the practical BUT it’s only practical if you align the bigger size with the season that’s likely to be in.

There’s no point getting bigger sized shorts and t-shirts in 9-12 months if the little one is likely to be in that size during the winter and we know how quickly they grow 😅
