Two French prison officers were killed in an ambush on a prison van near Rouen in Normandy. Prisoner Mohamed Amra, known as "The Fly," was being transported from court when a car rammed the prison van at a toll booth. Gunmen then opened fire, killing two officers and injuring two others critically. French President Emmanuel Macron assured that efforts are underway to find the perpetrators. Amra, with ties to a Marseille gang, was convicted of burglary and indicted for a kidnapping leading to death.
