This Easter weekend the bar will be open from midday to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and from midday to 10pm on Sunday.

Our main menu will be served 12-2.15pm and 5pm to 8.15pm on Friday and Saturday and from 12-2.15 and 5pm to 7.15pm on Sunday. We will serve our lunch platters only between 2.15pm and 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It’s a time for reflection here at The Whistlefield Inn.

We have operated the lease here for nearly 6 years filled with fun, smiles, unimaginable times of covid, so many weddings, family celebrations and also a cost of living crisis! It is with a heavy but satisfied heart that we announce that our lease has expired and after a meeting on Monday it has been confirmed that it will not be renewed so the business will be closing on Sunday 26th May.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the years. Our experience has certainly been a wild one during unprecedented times!

We have been lucky enough to be approached with a brilliant opportunity so will be moving the family back down South but my will we miss the hills, the loch and our brilliant, beautiful band of loyal guests and friends!

If anyone has any gift vouchers, please do use them before the 26th May as we will be unable to reimburse them after this time and would hate anyone to miss out.

We are sure the gossip and stories will be forthcoming and wait with some amusement to see what exciting things we have been up to without even knowing : ) At this stage we have been informed that the business will not be operating moving forward so can’t tell you any more than we know regarding the future for The Whistlefield Inn!
